Hello everyone, I am having trouble with setting up my ads. I had published my campaign and then Facebook suddenly wanted me to verify my payment method. I used my physical card because it was one of my first campaigns on facebook. They sent me an SMS code and I put it in, but then they decided to disable my ad account and I got sent to this. They are asking me to provide financial statements to request a review. Is this normal guys? And how do I fix it ?

Hey there! What you're experiencing is a common issue when Facebook flags an account due to potential inconsistencies or risks. This can happen for several reasons:
  1. Using Proxies or Accounts from Different GEOs:
    • If your IP address (proxy) and the location of the account or payment method don’t match, Facebook may see it as suspicious activity.
  2. Incomplete Payment Information:
    • Not fully verifying your payment method or using a card that doesn’t align with the account’s GEO can trigger Facebook’s security checks.

How to Fix It:

Submit the Requested Financial Documents: If Facebook is asking for financial statements, provide clear and legitimate documents (bank statements, receipts, or invoices tied to the account).

Use Consistent GEO Details: Make sure the IP, account, and payment method match geographically to avoid triggering their system in the future.

Contact Facebook Support: Open a case through the Facebook Help Center and explain the situation in detail. Be polite and provide any additional proof they request.

Avoid Risky Practices in the Future:
  • Use real, verifiable payment methods tied to the same GEO as the account.
  • Avoid switching between proxies and IPs frequently, as it can appear suspicious.
This type of restriction can be lifted if you provide the requested information and ensure everything is aligned in the future. Good luck, and let me know if you need further help!

Hey bro, this happened to me again and I was using AdsCard. I made sure to match everything to the US geo (proxy, payment method, location of account) but it still happened to me. As I was about to publish the ad, they say that I need to verify my payment method. Please see the screenshots below.

I did not switch between any proxies or IPs either, and everything was done using my anti detect browser. Is there anyway to fix this? I have tried several accounts but they all faced the same problem. I also can't show any bank statements to verify because this is a VCC from AdsCard.

Hey bro, I get your frustration—this kind of issue with AdsCard is a headache, especially when everything seems aligned. Let’s troubleshoot and find a way around it.

  1. VCC Detection by Facebook: Facebook’s system might recognize your AdsCard as a virtual credit card (VCC), which can sometimes trigger verification flags.
  2. Trust Score on New Accounts: If the account is fresh or hasn't established enough trust (e.g., through activity or spending history), payment methods are scrutinized more strictly.
  3. Pattern Recognition: Facebook’s algorithm could detect repetitive setups (same VCC provider, proxy types, or browser configurations), flagging them as suspicious.

Use an Alternative VCC or Payment Method

Not all VCCs are treated equally by Facebook. Consider:
  • Revolut: Frequently used and trusted for FB ads.
  • Wise (formerly TransferWise): Works for many marketers.
  • Stripe Issued Cards: Often have higher trust.
Avoid repeatedly using the same VCC provider across multiple accounts—it raises red flags.

Warm Up the Account Before Adding the VCC

Spend a few days building trust on the account before attaching payment methods:
  • Engage with organic activity: like posts, follow pages, and comment.
  • Use the account on a consistent IP/proxy.
Once warmed up, add the VCC and wait 24-48 hours before creating ads.

Add Payment Information Strategically

Instead of attaching the card during the campaign creation process:
  • Add the card first via Payment Settings in the ad account.
  • Let it sit for a few hours to ensure it’s not flagged immediately.
Ensure the card has sufficient balance (at least $10–20).

Leverage Manual Payments

In some regions, you can use manual payment methods (like bank transfers or PayPal) to avoid VCC issues altogether. It’s a slower process but can stabilize the account.

Request Proof from AdsCard

While VCCs don’t typically come with traditional bank statements, AdsCard may provide proof of ownership or transactional receipts. Contact their support team and request any documentation that mimics a bank statement.
Good luck, bro! Let me know if you need help testing new setups or alternative methods.

Hi bro, thanks for this info. It seems like I am getting banned because of "Risk payment". Do you know how to deal with this? I have tried Wise, Adscard, and even my physical Visa business card.

And also, you would warm up for a few days by liking posts and following pages, commenting, etc. and then add the VCC, and then wait another 48 hours? Then you launch ads? Please let me know

Hey bro! "Risk Payment" is a common issue in traffic arbitrage, but there are ways to handle it. Here's what you need to know:

Payment Methods:

  • Wise and Adscard: These can work, but Facebook often flags them if they've already been used on other accounts.
  • Physical Card: This is fine too, but if you’re using one card for multiple accounts, it creates associations, leading to bans.
  • Tip: Try fresh virtual cards from less popular providers or cards with a local BIN that matches the account's geo.

Proper Account Warm-Up:

  • First Stage: After creating the account, spend 2-3 days acting like a regular user: like posts, follow pages, leave comments. This makes the account look more natural.
  • Add Payment Method: Add your payment method 2-3 days after warming up the account, not immediately. After adding the card, wait another 48 hours for Facebook to "process" it.
  • Start Ads: Begin with a minimal budget and simple campaigns (Engagement, Traffic). This helps build trust with the account.

Avoid Common Mistakes:

  • Don’t use the same card on multiple accounts. This is a frequent mistake that leads to bans.
  • Ensure clean proxies and anti-detect setups. If Facebook detects suspicious activity or overlaps with other accounts, bans are inevitable.
  • Don’t start with big budgets. The account needs time to "mature."
If you proceed carefully and without rushing, you can avoid "Risk Payment" issues. Good luck, bro! If you have more questions, just ask! 😉
